Bonjour, Louis Vuitton Flagship Store!
The store’s décor is inspired by Louis XIV (AKA “the Sun King”), so the front of the store boasts a huge gold sun that goes through the first-floor window. Talk about drama.
There’s even a gold sculpture of Louis XIV himself in the store, which fits in perfectly with all of the amazing inventory.
This is LV’s first flagship store in Paris with a high jewelry department. That’s no surprise, considering that the Place Vendôme is home to the world’s greatest high jewelry houses in the world as well as to the Ritz Hotel.
Even cooler? The store has a section dedicated to the new furniture line LV is producing. One of my favorite pieces is the one-of-a-kind Malle Trunk that was specially created to store a client’s collection of Petite Malle clutches.
After perusing the stunning store, it’s time for the after-party in a courtyard just off the Place Vendôme. The passed appetizers and champagne are delightful, but they don’t prepare me for the crazy entertainment. Jayden Smith starts the party off and then Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff take the stage!
The wild and crazy dancer in all of us comes out when Mark Ronson takes over the DJ booth—I cut a rug with Aimee Song and Camila Coelho!—and before we know it, it’s midnight and pouring outside. What do we do? Make a run for the Bar Hemingway at the Ritz, of course!
What I Wore
I wore the ultimate LV party dress: a colorful, edgy mini dress paired with (surprisingly comfy!) LV silver booties. Perfect for dancing and running in the rain!
More shenanigans to follow—subscribe to come along!
