The Louis Vuitton fashion show was held at the Niteroi Contemporary Art Museum, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. The building sits on a cliff overlooking the beach and Rio’s mountainous landscape, and the models walked out from the building’s winding, red ramp which doubled as the runway. We were seated on mismatched, colorful crates all lined up in a single row.

My accessories for the show
The show opened with space-like dresses in bright reds, blues, and yellows with cutouts at the stomach or sides. Bold fabrics were stitched together like a kaleidoscope.
Interesting combinations were seen down the runway, such as this floral sundress worn over a sequin top
Many pieces paid homage to Rio’s culture with vibrant colors, soccer and Grand Prix prints
The collection was sporty and modern with bold accents and nostalgic touches
Models wore sleek black shoes or gladiator-like white and black sandals resembling combat boots.
There were sleek leather dresses fringed at the chest in sequined ruffles
I even got to meet the designer himself, Nicolas Ghesquiere!
After the show, there was an after party at Parque Lage
Photo booth fun!
The next day was the resee, and the collection was even more beautiful up close.
